Erdmann Knaack, Spey Gallery

Erdmann Knaack is a retired architect who has been living near Chatsworth since 1978. He paints watercolours of landscape, rural scenes, birds and flowers. Paintings include waterfalls, trees, houses, barns and churches which reflect his professional background and living environment. All watercolours and giclee prints are on sale at 50% off.

Starwheel Studio, Julia White, Steven White

Julia showcases her newest body of work, Root Sculptures,where she explores the hidden nature of the phenomenal world by bringing what is hidden to light by wrapping them in colourful dyes and yarns. In addition she will have her unique jewelery with semi-precious, vintage, glass and seed beads on display.

Steven is a multi media artist who works in printmaking, paint, sculpture and found objects. He will be showing his garden sculptures, Junkweeds and work from the Combine Project, interactive kinetic sculpture made from an abandoned combine harvester which is scheduled to be shown at the TomThomson Art Gallery in 2009.

Ralph Bergman

The beautiful views across Queen’s Valley from his hilltop farmhouse, inspire Ralph to photograph the intense hues of nature to be found in Grey County. He also specializes in natural light portrait photography in the sitters' homes and graphic design. He has exhibited in the Blue Mountains Foundation for the Arts juried shows in Collingwood as well as in the McIntosh Gallery in London, Ont. His studio is on the Massie Road just west of Massie.
